Voting has finally opened up on WeLoveFine’s Adventure Time t-shirt contest! Here is my circus inspired entry for the contest. I tried to capture the style of the show in this design, but I drew way too many jointed limbs for this to hold up to AT. Ah well, how could ringleader Marceline go wrong? Also, any and every vote that can be tossed my way is very much appreciated. I’m a bit anxious because this is my first big online art contest to enter, but I have high hopes that Pendleton Ward will see my designs, think I’m cool, and then invite me over to a rocketship pizza party with him, Pancake and Natasha Algehri. Then Mistah Ward can call me mum and tell her that my majoring in art was not worthless after all~ This might not be one of the explicit grand prizes, but I have my hopes. Aggghhh it’s like Hot Topic vomited from my pen mouse…. Regardless my dismay, here is a redesign of Marceline, the Vampire Queen just in time for Halloween (rhyme alert). She IS supposed to look like she’s from Guitar Hero as opposed to a regular rpg because of how Marceline is an anachronism in her fashion choice. I figured GH had the most in common with her interests, so there is my excuse. Now back to painting and Amnesia for me.
